NEGEO utilizes a wide range of client resources to produce accurate and attractive results. New parcels are created in various circumstances for each project. Procedures for creating new parcels from many sources including the following:

• Legal deeds
• Digital subdivision submittals
• 6 inch pixel resolution color aerial imagery
• Scanning and/or digitizing
• Maps which are scanned have included sensitive hard copy maps, including 30 year old hand drafted linen property maps, often with no available aerial photography to compare and measure off of.

NEGEO’s standard parcel creation and maintenance services include producing maps as digital PDF files which make plotting and distribution simple. NEGEO also submits summary reports detailing the following:

• Parcels edited
• Steps taken during the editing process
• Tables comparing the parcel database to the Assessor’s
  CAMA system
• CDs with all new and edited data ready for internal and/or
  public distribution
